Holds (Book Reservations)

What is a Hold?

• A Hold allows NWU students and staff to reserve books that are currently checked out by other users.

How to Place a Hold

• Eligibility: Only registered NWU staff and students can place holds.
• Process: Use WorldCat Discovery to request a hold on an unavailable book.
• Steps: Follow the Hold Placement Guide to complete your request.
