René Koraan holds a LLB and LLM degree. She was a state prosecutor between 2004 and 2008 and was admitted as an advocate in 2006. She joined the North-West University in 2009. She is currently teaching criminal law at the undergraduate level and teaches international juvenile criminal justice for the masters degree in comparative child law.
