Potchefstroom Campus: Ferdinand Postma Library (Information Commons) Construction

Kindly note that the Information Commons (Ferdinand Postma Library) is temporarily closed due to a construction project. It will reopen on 14th October 2024, just in time to support students during the final examinations.

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience.

A new disability space is coming soon!

Please be informed that construction work is in progress at the Ferdinand Postma Library, specifically in the Undergraduate Commons area. The construction is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the library facilities by creating a space for users with disabilities.

Start date: 12 August 2024
Completion date: 04 November 2024

We are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible environment for all members of our university community. This new space will be equipped with specialized resources and technologies designed to support our users' diverse needs.

During the construction period, there may be some noise and disruptions in the surrounding areas. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to improve our library services. During this time, students can also use computer labs on the Potchefstroom Campus.

Thank you for your continued support.
