About

The Library and Information Services (LIS) Outreach, Projects, and Quality entity strives to engage with the university community and beyond, to develop and implement new projects and initiatives, and to ensure that the library's services and resources meet the highest standards of quality. Outreach activities focus on both internal and external stakeholder engagements in line with institutional goals, while also marketing and enhancing the LIS's visibility. Projects and initiatives aim to improve the library's services, facilities, and resources in support of teaching, learning, and research needs. Quality assurance activities include monitoring and evaluating the library's services, facilities, and resources; benchmarking the library against other institutions; and collecting user feedback. This entity ensures that the NWU library is a dynamic, responsive institution committed to meeting its users' needs. By engaging with the university community and beyond, developing new initiatives, and ensuring the quality of its services and resources, the library is able to play a vital role in the success of the NWU.
