The Library and Information Services (LIS) Outreach, Projects, and Quality entity strives to engage with the university community and beyond, to develop and implement new projects and initiatives, and to ensure that the library's services and resources meet the highest standards of quality. Outreach activities are focused on both internal and external stakeholder engagements in line with institutional goals, while also marketing and enhancing visibility of the LIS. Projects and initiatives aim to improve the library's services, facilities and resources, in support of teaching, learning and research needs. Quality assurance activities include monitoring and evaluating the library's services, facilities and resources, benchmarking the library against other institutions, and collecting feedback from users. This entity ensures that the NWU library is a dynamic and responsive institution that is committed to meeting the needs of its users. By engaging with the university community and beyond, developing new initiatives, and ensuring the quality of its services and resources, the library is able to play a vital role in the success of the NWU.
