Holds (Book Reservations)
What is a Hold?
A library hold is a reservation for a library item (like a book) that is currently checked out or unavailable. You will be notified when it becomes available for pickup.
How to Place a Hold
- Eligibility: Only registered NWU staff and students can place holds.
- Process: Use WorldCat Discovery to request a hold on an unavailable book.
- Steps: Follow the Hold Placement Guide to complete your request.
